We source our products and raw material requirements both locally and internationally and we represent a number of international manufacturers and suppliers of filter products and technical textiles. We have a manufacturing facility in Durban where we manufacture filters for liquid/wet applications to complement our imported range of filters as well as manufacturing filters for dust and milling applications. Slottubes are composed of a surface profile that is spirally wrapped around axial support profiles and attached to each other by resistance welding. These filter elements have the unique advantages of very accurate, narrow slot openings and perfect roundness all in one. Inverted profile for filtration in to out, with support profiles att he inside, is possible for most profile combinations. By using support profiles, an axial slot can be obtained. This avoids the chance of stress corrosion and the weakening of the welds, which does occur with opening and flattening slottubes (this is the normal way to manufacture flat screens). For special applications welded screens can be made out of slottube. A combination of different support profiles and pitches within one flat screen is possible. Curved screens; curve direction and filtration direction are to be determined by the customer. PROGAF filter bags are made from the finest hydrophobic polypropylene fibers that require wetting with an aqueous solution (detailed instructions for use are included in every box of PROGAF filter bags)
