With DuraTurf you can enjoy the look and feel of perfectly manicured grass all year round without the hassles.DuraTurf isn't confined to the garden either, it's popping up in areas where natural grass wouldn't be seen dead! If you’re looking for a new way to construct your pool in and around Durban, you’ve probably read about gunite constructed pools, and the great satisfaction people who have used the method have enjoyed. If you have no idea what gunite is, and how or why it’s used in swimming pool construction, we’ve explained it all below. One of the great things about living in KwaZulu-Natal is that we probably have the best winter weather in the country. This also means that if you live in the province, and have a pool, you’re much more likely to keep it open year-round. It helps to preserve the condition of your pumps and motors, seeing as bacteria and other nasty visitors don’t get a chance to settle in them. It’s also much easier to maintain the chemical balance of your pool water, seeing as you’ll be doing it consistently. Customised pool lighting solutions can be used to great effect in creating a unique ambiance around your outdoor entertainment area. You can highlight certain exterior architectural elements and promote the safety of your swimming pool use at night. Let’s face it, having a pool is one of the great things about living in KwaZulu-Natal. But if you’ve had your pool for a while now, or have just moved into a house with an existing pool, it might just be time to give your pool an upgrade to ensure it functions at its peak while still making your backyard look beautiful. The first step to maintaining a safe and healthy swimming pool is to keep its water balance at an acceptable level. A swimming pool with properly balanced water has the required PH level, full alkalinity and adequate Calcium hardness. Imbalances can lead to burning red eyes or dry skin and itchy scalp, experiences that can ruin the pleasure of swimming. Pool Concepts is an experienced service provider in swimming pool maintenance in Durban.
