Quality handmade pieces designed and fashioned in our workshop adorn men and woman in many countries of the world, discerning people who are pursuers of fine jewellery.Having been in the bespoke jewelley industry for 98 years clearly we are different from the run of the mill jewelers like chain stores, unlike the later who buy ready made goods from China and the like, we have our workshop on the premises all pieces produced are checked for quality, conformity and design accuracy and are unique in that they are one off pieces.We don't use any casting machines or moulds, each piece begins its journey from a virgin piece of precious metal be it 18ct gold, palladium or platinum and the precious stones that will adorn these pieces are carefully selected not only to complement the piece but also for the optimum visual impact.We are also proud members of the Jewellery Council of South Africa.

Being qualified in design- and manufacturing of jewellery, with 30 years of experience we have perfected the art of handmade, custom designed, individual jewellery. This aspect alone, places us ahead of the majority of jewellers. The ability to understand what the client desires, combined with designing the perfectly-crafted pieces of jewellery that compliments the diamonds and gemstones that are being utilised to complete a work of art. Contrary to popular belief, the human finger is not perfectly round. That is why we have meticulously created the ideal shape for a precision fit. We provide a personalised service that matches our clients’ needs, paired with new ideas and design trends, to ensure a uniquely-valuable piece for each customer, thereby bringing to life heirlooms of the future. Brettlands who has 30 years of experience in design and manufacture of jewellery will design in 3D, your personal individual ring. Once the design has been approved we assay and melt down the gold and from there the gold is fashioned by hand into the designed ring. Once the mount is made, a diamond setter will individually set the o ignored diamond. Finally, the ring is polished to perfection and ready for presentation. All jewellery comes with a Brettlands Valuation Certificate and all our workmanship is guaranteed.
