Since our inception in 2010, we have successfully hosted conferences for some of the largest organisations, both Locally and Internationally. We originally opened our doors in since inception, the Olive Convention Centre has become a firm favourite in the Conferencing and Events arena, largely due to its location within Durban’s Golden Mile and proximity to Hotels, Beaches and Tourist attractions. The Olive Convention Centre is situated in close proximity to Durban’s Golden Mile of beaches and hotel boasts amazing conference venues ranging from the Olive Theatre to the Banqueting and Exhibition Hall, Hall of Learning, and a variety of breakaway rooms, meeting rooms and V.I.P. This state-of-the-art, technologically advanced Business and Conference Centre is noted for its amazing acoustics and smart lighting systems and has hosted the likes of internationally acclaimed motivational speaker Robin Sharma, the X-Factor South Africa auditions and Live shows, and a large contingent of Corporate and Government events. The success of a Company depends on the Leadership skills of its People. Zama has oversight of the professional finance team of the Durban Ice Arena and food and beverage division (Olive Convention Services). Zama’s focus is to drive adherence to sales and costs budgets for the various departments. During large scale events, the Hoy Park and George Campbell School grounds are utilised, which caters for approximately 500 vehicles. The Olive Convention Centre offers a free shuttle service between the parking zones and the Conference Centre to assist with the movement of your guests. We have 4 main Conference Halls that can be configured to meet the requirements of the discerning Client. We have successfully hosted numerous Government functions over the years. Our new Hall of Learning Facility caters for most Academic requirements and can accommodate up to 400 delegates at a time. We have three extended parking zones available to Guests who use our facilities. There are shuttle services provided from and to each of these zones.
