San Lameer is a good test of golf and is also one of the most picturesque courses in Southern Africa. San Lameer is the course of choice to some of South Africa’s top amateur national tournaments as well as home to the SA Ladies Open Championship. The course is relatively short, but the coastal breeze and tight layout make for a fine test of golf. Spectacular sea views and great features ensure a most memorable round. Only 20 minutes from Munster, Margate Country Club is considered to be the most improved course on our circuit. Long par 5’s and the short par 3, 11th being one of the most exciting holes to be found. The picturesque course has the unique feature of having two distinctly different nines. The front is a beautiful parkland layout while the back is a typical links course. With its perfect finishing hole and charming clubhouse, it forms a great part of a good golf holiday. Situated on 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest, with magnificent sea views that can be enjoyed from 70% of the course.
