Gamma Panel and Switchboard Manufacturers are one of the largest suppliers of low voltage switchgear panels in KwaZuluNatal. First established in 1964 it has since grown into a large concern now occupying 4000 sq. The Primary interest is the supply of Low Voltage Panels to KwaZuluNatal industry, however, our Panels can be found as far as Mauritius, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire and all our neighbouring states. At the commencement of a Project, our experienced staff will ensure an efficient design and that all Client requirements are met. The design covers the complete preparation of all steelwork and electrical drawings necessary for the manufacture of the steel enclosures and the wiring of the panel. Drawings using a CAD package and archived for future reference. On approval of the drawings the steel enclosures, using mild steel (zintex coated) or stainless steel if required, are manufactured and ground in the fabrication shop. After grinding the panel sections are passed through the passivation and pickling tanks to remove any surface rust and grease and sent through for priming and painting. standards for the treatment of galvanised substrate for coastal environs. The equipping of the panels takes place in the assembly and electrical workshop where the panel base plates are laid out, assembled, wired and the busbar work completed. On completion of the wiring and assembly each panel undergoes various tests to ensure that the switchboards comply with the applicable SABS standards. ASSEMBLIES having a rated current in excess of 3150 amps are subject to agreement. With the automation of industry generally in recent years our custom built control desks can be found in most of the Sugar Mills, South African Breweries and Sappi Paper Plants. For this project manufactured all low voltage distribution boards including all the tenant DB’s and main boards. We were also involved with the panels for the musical fountain and the wavelock wave pool.
