SUGAR Containerized sugar trade accounts for a large part of AKILA's business globally. Majority of all our sugar export is generated by our experienced team in Brazil and India. AKILA expanded its scope of business in 2010 when it started packing sugar under AKILA brand. Owing to AKILA's growth in the trade of REFINED, CRYSTAL, RAW sugar and its success in packing and distribution of sugar under its brand, AKILA has diversified by adding containerized ICING and CASTOR Sugar to its quiver in BEANS & PULSES South Africa is a leading producer of dry beans and peas in the sub-Saharan region. However, consumption of beans, peas and pulses far exceeds the local production. This gives AKILA the opportunity to import and trade domestically in a variety of beans, peas and pulses. AKILA's range of pre-packed BEANS, PEAS and PULSES has become a household brand in South Africa.
