The value and consistency of any threaded fastener clamping load can be achieved only by hand-installation using a quality, calibrated torque wrench. Whether using nuts or wheel bolts, make sure that the thread size is correct (shank diameter and thread pitch), and make absolutely sure that the fastener's seat style matches that of the wheels.
